You can spend a lifetime learning more about discipleship. With our adult education programs, you can move in many directions. Not all of us are at the same place in our journey of faith. Sunday Education

You can choose from a wide variety of Sunday School classes that are most relevant to your journey of faith. Choose from the following list of adult classes that meet Sunday morning 9:15 until 10:15.

Batteries Not Included/Parenting

Parenting 101, the second part in Jim Williams’ ProActive Parenting video/ discussion series, is appropriate for parents of all children from toddlers to college age. Class meets downstairs in room 202.

Bethany

Meets in the Joyce Jones Parlor and uses the Bible as its text with discussion led by Bob Abernathy. The class is studying the complete writings of each author of the New Testament.

GIFT: Growing In Faith Together

Couples and singles share food and fellowship preceding the lessons, currently Max Lucado’s Life Lessons—Colossians and Philemon. Class meets downstairs in Room 204 with Rick Shrout coordinating assignments.

Growing Christians

This eclectic mix of adults is studying Discernment: Acting Wisely with Lou Brown as facilitator for the first part of the Living the Good Life Together series. Meets downstairs in room 211.

Seekers

Members are women who study the Bible using the Uniform Series Adult Bible Studies. Nancy Adams leads the class, which meets in the office conference room.

The Disciples

Unbinding your Heart: 40 Days of Prayer & Faith Sharing begins May 18. Class meets in the Library where members freely express ideas and share leadership of the class.

31 Flavors

A wide cross-section of people meet in the Garden Room with discussion led by Cowan Wilson. The class is studying the Ray VanderLaan video series, That the World May Know.

New Testament

Meets downstairs in Room 209 with Bob Senn leading a detailed study of Matthew using the William Barclay study guide. Each week is a stand-alone study perfect for newcomers and those unable to attend each Sunday.

Young Adult Class

The Rev. Beth Thomason leads this class in the study of Progressive Christianity. The class meets in Beth’s office.
