Adults
You can spend a lifetime learning more about discipleship. With our adult education programs, you can move in many directions. Not all of us are at the same place in our journey of faith. We hope you will bring your unique perspective to the table at First Christian Church. Please join us on the journey.
Sunday Education
You can choose from a wide variety of Sunday School classes that are most relevant to your journey of faith. Choose from the following list of adult classes that meet Sunday morning 9:15 until 10:15.

Batteries Not Included/Parenting
This class meets downstairs in Room 202 and uses the ProActive Parenting video/discussion series. Newcomers are welcome to join the group.
Bethany
This group of adults meets in the Joyce Jones Parlor and uses the Bible as its text with discussion. The class is studying the complete writings of each author of the New Testament.
GIFT (Growing In Faith Together)
This adult class studies a wide variety of materials. In the past we have watched a religious video series on The Andy Griffith Show and studied works by Max Lucado. Come join us for laughs to spare and lessons to share downstairs in Room 204. New members welcome at any time.
Growing Christians
This eclectic mix of adults meets downstairs in room 211 for a discussion of Hebrews using the Interpretation Bible Studies series.
Seekers
Members are women who study the Bible using the Uniform Series Adult Bible Studies. The class meets in the office conference room.
The Disciples
Class meets in the Library where members freely express ideas and viewpoints and share leadership of the class.
31 Flavors
A wide cross-section of people who meet in the Garden Room. In the past, the class has discussed meditations from the Upper Room.
New Testament
This adult group meets downstairs in Room 209. Each week is a stand-alone study perfect for newcomers and those unable to attend each Sunday.
