The Journey

The Journey is the weekly newsletter of First Christian Church – Huntsville. It is available by regular mail, email and on-line. The Journey primarily features information and articles relevant to our church and is published on Mondays.

Articles or announcements for the Journey may be emailed to publisher@fcc-hsv.org as a Microsoft Word attachment (saved as Word 2003 or prior document) or in the text of the email. Emailed articles must be received by noon on Thursday. If you don’t use email, then typed items will be accepted, but those items must be in the church office by Wednesday as they will have to be re-typed on the computer. Submissions received after the deadline will generally not be in the Journey until the following issue. Space for articles is limited and submissions may be edited for space, otherwise articles will be printed as submitted. Reasonable efforts will be made to include appropriate articles submitted by the deadline; however, articles may be deferred to a subsequent issue of the Journey due to space limitations.

Worship Bulletin

Our Worship Bulletin is distributed prior to Sunday services, on-line and by elders to the homebound. Included in the Bulletin is the Order of Worship, a list of Sunday school classes for all ages, Sunday afternoon programs for K – high schoolchildren and youth, a weekly calendar of church activities and a prayer concern list. The deadline for submitting church related events for the calendar or adding a person to our prayer concerns list is 5 pm on Wednesday. Information may be emailed to publisher@fcc-hsv.org or call the church office at 881-0150. Current and previous editions of the Bulletin are available here, listed as bulletin, and may be opened using a PDF reader such as Adobe Reader®.
